This is an old almost primitive silverware holder (box) Someone had hung it on the wall once. It came from a beautiful estate and of course, I had to have it. It measures app. 8.25\" by 13\" The bottom is pretty thin and split but not so you can see through it. Just wavy. The left side of this is wonky and could be glued. I will leave that for you to decide. It can be hung on a wall too or as I stated in condition it can be used in a display or at your cabin.
