Vintage Denis Mathews Bronze Lion Paw Mini Tray Sculpture Kenya Foundry 1993 #456. Mini lion tray bronze art piece crafted by renowned Kenyan artist Denis Mathews. This is a nice early example from Matbronze Wildlife Art - Kenya's first bronze foundry, founded in 1987 - where all art is created on site. Signed in the casting by Denis Mathews and numbered 456. The sculpture is in good, vintage, preowned condition with some patina, marks, and darkening consistent with age. Measures approximately 4" wide. Beautifully crafted with an actual lion pawprint, this collectible tray is perfect for any metalware enthusiast or lover of African art.
