Offered here is a vintage, midcentury modern (MCM) DANSK IHQ Orecast Cast Iron Wood Handle Pot Pan lid/top, which would have originally been paired with an orecast dutch oven by Jens Quistgaard. I believe this top would have fitted onto the 2 quart model, but there is no markings on the lid so I'm not sure.
Dimensions:
Approximately 7" x 7" interior width, 9.5" end to end (cast iron portion only), with wooden handle adding another 4.75" of lengthHeight: about 1.75"
Condition:
Lots of wear, staining, and areas of enamel chipping. No cracks, though. There is a square shaped wear pattern on the "bottom" that resembles a gas burner grate, which suggests one of two things: Either someone in the past has repurposed this top part for use as a shallow fry pan or small casserole, or this is actually the bottom (missing the top) of a small skillet.
