Vintage Counter Checks: First National Bank, Morrill & Mitchell, Nebraska:

Offered for your consideration is a set of two counter checks issued by the First National Bank of Morrill and Mitchell, Nebraska. Each item was found in a printer\'s file, who had used them for markups of other print jobs (hence the handwriting on the back of each). The Mitchell version is c. 1960s, and features the electric time/temperature sign that was once outside this bank. It also features an unusual typeface in the title, which was likely originally a litho design. The Morrill version is c. 1950s, and features a very nice Art Deco design and typefaces.A few general advisories:
