This is a UNIQUE radio - we couldn\'t find much about it. It has a wood case, opens, and takes a 9 volt battery (not included). We but a batter in it and tried to test it - no sound. However, we know little about transistor or am radios. We are also assuming this is an AM only radio because of its age.
The knobs are so cool! The tuner is a whisky or spirits bottle, and the volume is a cocktail shaker. It comes with a \"bar stool\". We are thinking the stool is meant to hold small stir straws or olive picks (not included).
Someone we know suggested this may have been some sort of a \"do it yourself\" craft radio kit, but we don\'t know.
The bank \"works\" fine, we put a penny in for good luck.
The radio/bank measures approximately 3.75\" x 6.25\" x 4.5\". The stool is about 4.75\" tall and the white \"wheel\" looking part is about 3.25\" in diameter.
