This is a 1957 Home Calendar copyrighted by the Coca Cola Company in 1957, Litho in USA. The cover features Santa Claus and with each turn of the page two calendar months are shown, each featuring a different flower, and a larger flower is depicted above. The flower prints were selected from the Pierre Redoute Collection in the Pierpont Morgan Library by Margaretta Salinger of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Lots of practical information aside from the dates is also provided in the calendar including the moon\'s phases, holidays and other important occasions, first aid and safety tips, kitchen measurement conversions, the timing of the seasons, a list of state flowers, and traditional Anniversary gift suggestions. The sprinkling of Coca-Cola advertising photos is relatively discreet throughout and there is a depiction of life in the 1950s in the center of the calendar. A very nice period piece.
This calendar was used by my mother and there are some markings where she crossed off select days shown in the photos. It is in good shape for it\'s age, but there are some minor folds, stains, and abrasions and the staples at the center of the calendar have rusted, also shown in the photos.
Please note: I am not an expert. I am a recently retired person trying to reduce some of my sentimental possessions and hoping to find someone else who will enjoy and value them. Please ask if you have questions or would like to see more photos. My home is smoke-free.
