Up for sale is a tag (or label) from a vintage heavy winter coat. The label reads:
McGregorCanadian ModelWarm-Up CoatWater RepellentLined WithSnow-Woods BlanketingMade in U.S.A.
This cloth label measures about 3.75 inches wide by about 2.875 inches tall. It was sewn into the inside of the jacket, in the back, just below the collar. The leather jacket was in such poor condition that I determined that only the label could be salvaged. I carefully removed the label by undoing the stitching that held it in place and hand washed it using a delicate fabric soap.My research indicates that McGregor was a popular maker of good quality outerwear.
