This vintage FDNY probationary fireman badge from the City of New York is a rare and obsolete piece of historical memorabilia. It has a number 400 on it. My family is firefighters from NYC and can’t remember ever seeing a Probationary badge like this as far back as the 1970s. The pin clasp is intact but difficult to close. I don’t want to play with it so I’ll leave that to the buyer. That said it is being sold “as is” please see pictures. It features the iconic Fire Rescue Department emblem and is made of metal, making it a durable and long-lasting addition to any collection.
