A vintageset of integrated chrome canisters by Speco, Inc., offered by SnowdriftAntiques.

Speco Inc.was incorporated in 1946 in Schiller Park, Illinois. This was decades after they namelesslyproduced high quality steel blades and attachments for the Chicago meatprocessing companies. The grandson ofthe founder recognized that there was a large market for what they couldproduce, beyond meat processing implements. Their “Krestline” line of productsbecame all the rage of modern 1950s housewives looking to add some bling totheir kitchens. Speco is still a family run business today.

This is anintegrated set of 4 chrome plated canisters in a single unit. They are marked,Coffee, Flour, Sugar and Tea. Each is opened by pulling down on the knob. Theycan be removed for easy cleaning. The Coffee canister has a metal lid. This setis 1950s kitchenware at its best. On theback, there are two small holes if you decide to mount the unit.

The unitmeasures 18 ½ inches wide by 7 deep and 9 ¾ high.

This set isin excellent vintage condition. It hassome age appropriate wear to the chrome from innumerable cleanings but noscratches through the chrome. On your left hand end you may be able to see avery small dark spot in image 4 and on the other end, the slightest dent inimage 5. The chrome is in excellentcondition. It is shiny and without pitting or rust.

This setwill be double boxed which will add to the shipping cost but ensure a safe,damage free ride to its new home.
