Celluloid French Ivory Vanity Set Circa 1930s in the Art Deco Style. This set includes a powder box with lid and a hair brush. Each piece is monogramed with AMM. Celluloid became popular as a less expensive material for many uses including vanity sets. It was often called \"French Ivory\" as this form was developed in France and had lines that resembled expensive ivory. These beautiful butterscotch pieces were produced by Colonial Quality. The vintage pieces are in good condition with no nicks or chips but there is some wear. The powder box is 5 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall with lid. The hairbrush is 10 inches long and 2 inches wide. Please see photos for details and condition. These are delicate pieces and will be wrapped in acid free paper for protection.
