This is a Vintage Car Truck Battery Box Compartment With Bracket. I’m not sure which vehicle it’s for. The lid fits flush on the box but it’s just a little bit off. One side clamps down but on the other side the nose on the bracket lands just outside of the hole it’s supposed to slide into. The lid goes on and comes off hard. There is some separation near the bottom of the box on the seam. It’s dirty, nicked, scratched, scraped up, is rusted, and was repainted. With the lid on the box measures 10-3/4” x 8-3/4” x 9-1/2”. With the lid off and measuring the insides of the box it is 10” x 8” x 9”. The bracket is 7-3/8” long, 3/4” wide, and the tongue is 1/2”. It’s straight but rusty.
