Vintage Canadian Club Whisky Pendulum (D-Battery) Powered Clock 22” NOT WORKING:

The clock is not in working condition.

It appears a piece of the metal battery-mechanism is slightly sheared off (see photo)

It appears the previous owner installed the battery incorrectly, and when they tried to remove the backwards-installed battery it sheared off a small piece of the metal.

So it appears it needs an entire new backside mechanism since it appears all connected.
