Offering this stunning French silver plated pepper mill by the famed Silversmiths of Christofle. Having Peugot grinder mechanism. Circa 1970s, possibly earlier.

Good, unaltered, vintage condition as shown. Some oxidation to the steel components on the underside and general wear throughout. The exterior silver plate is good condition without excessive wear. Two areas of deep scratches on cap, opposing sides as if pliers were used to loosen the cap. Some movement and gaps between tightening finial, cap and lower body even when tightened. but it easily realigns by hand and stays in position better when full of pepper berries. Fully functioning but grind adjustment may not operate as well as when mill was new. is being sold as is and as described. . My low opening price is not representative of item value. 3. Shipping and Handling I ship within 48 hours of payment. Items ship U.S. Postal Service “Economy.” The shipping charge includes shipping costs, boxes, packing materials and handling. I will pack carefully to help ensure safety and that your item arrives intact. I often need to purchase shipping boxes. Boxes can cost between $4 and $7 each, depending on size and thickness. Additional money is spent on packing materials. Check my response as previous customers have been satisfied with my packing. If the buyer wants a different a shipping method, actual shipping and handling costs will be charged. Double-boxing is not included unless otherwise stated. International Shipping: International shipping is not offered on all sales – check listing carefully.
