This cash register replica keepsake box is in great condition. It does not come with a key. The piece that holds the lock in place was removed, but will be included and can be replaced if a key is found for it. There is no branding or makers marks anywhere on the piece. The lever that rolls the top locked door open is slightly loose. We tried tightening it but were unsuccessful. The only button that works is at the top left (nautical star). The rest are non functional and static. The top viewing area is made of plexiglass. There’s a mechanism inside that pushes the drawer opened. There is also a marble plate for setting items. Pictures show the condition. There is no damage. The wood is solid. It measures 14 3/4” tall with a base of 10” x 10 3/4”. It’s a cool piece, even if you can’t find a key.
