History of Boyd’s Glass: From 1978 to 2014 Boyd's Crystal Art Glass made glass figurines the old fashioned way...a man and a mold, one piece at a time. It started as Dagenhart Crystal Art Glass in 1947. producing many glass items with the first Salt being the Star & Dewdrop Master in 1952. After John’s death in 1964 his wife Elizabeth took over thebusinessand ranit until1978. Bernard C. Boydand his son Bernard F. Boyd bought thebusinessand equipment starting Boyd’s Crystal Art Glass. The Boyd’s continueduntil closing in 2014.
