Welcome to my store, One 2 Remember Collectibles! Up for your consideration is a Vintage CERAMIC SWAN PLANTER FIGURINE Made By MADDUX! Made in California, U.S.A. It measures approx. 10\" Tall x 7 1/2\" Long x 4 3/4\" Wide. It weighs right under 1 1/2 pounds.Here is a wonderful famous William Maddux elegant black swan. Famous in the 1930\'s - 1950\'s for his wonderful ceramic pottery figures and items in gorgeous glazes. Some of his most famous and sought after are the beautiful birds including cockatoos, parrots, blue birds and swans.Wings are up from back and planter hole is between them. Nice expression head with pink bill. Maddux was the founder of the pottery company that eventually came to bear the name \"Maddux of California\". Don\'t miss this fabulous swan planter that is an example of one of California s best 1950\'s ceramic pottery figures especially his birds.Gently used/displayed. Great condition overall. Bright and Vibrant Colors!! No cracks, chips or repairs. There is hard water staining/ marks inside. I believe they can be cleaned off, but I didn\'t try, as I wanted to leave that decision up to the buyer. Please see the pictures for more details. I\'ve added a picture of each side of the item!
