Beefeater, gin lovers… here’s a lot for you. Another great advertising statue to keep guard over your Beefeater Gin. The Beefeater, known more formally as Yeoman Warders, traditionally had the job of guarding the Tower of London and the crown jewels. They picked up the nickname over time and the gin we know and love eventually adopted it. This fellow is in great condition, all of the colors are vibrant. He is a hand-painted molded plastic piece with a good deal of detailing mounted to a solid wood base. He’s mounted to the base by two small nails though his shoes- likely the last version of these before they were fully molded plastic. Comes complete with his spear, which is often missing or broken. Height: 16.5” | 8.5” wide across the base.
Condition: Excellent! No notable issues light scuffs and scrapes.&The Yellow Beefeater with the straight horizontal Beefeater logo at top. A rarer version of their pitchers, likely from the 1950s based on the style of the Wade mark. Screened mark underneath is: Wade Regicor London England. The logo and Beefeater portrait images are printed on both sides. Condition Light scuffs usual for age, graphics are crisp and bright. No chips or cracks.
Height 5.25” | Volume: 24oz with a bit of room still.
