Vintage art deco desk lamp. Style, design similar to Gilbert Rohde desk lamps. Heavy, weighted nonferrous gold tone base with front pen pencil holder slot. Curved and grooved brass upright, white plastic or similar shade. Speed grooves or lines at the top of the shade, same as at the upright and base. Fat boy pull chain socket with new paper insulator. The shade attaches to the brass upright at the rear via a threaded finger nut with large brass washer. Unlit the shade is a slightly off white, lit almost a faint yellow. 2 stress cracks are present at the rear of the shade, no missing pieces, all intact. Stress fissures or lines can be seen at either side of the shade emanating from the rearm not cracks, appear as lines. All can be seen in the pics. The shade is securely mounted, pivot adjustable, stays where placed, does not sag etc. At the top of the shade near center is a dark spot from overheat at some point in the past, large bulb too hot, no cracks or damage, just the discoloration as seen in pics. All surface clean inside and out, new modern wiring and plug end, ready to use lighting. Overall height is 10 1/4\", shade is 7 1/4\" long, 3 1/3\" wide, 3\" tall. Base is 6 1/2\" x 3 1/2\".
