Vintage Appliqued & Embroidered Pink Flowers & Leaves - Quilt:

This vintage quilt features pink flower appliques and hand-embroidered pink edging, green leaves, and French knots for the center portions of the flowers. Great care was used in the construction of the blocks, with the use of different shades of pink (for flowers), and French knots in varying colors for the middle of the flower. Varying shades of pink thread were used to embroider the edges of the flowers. Applique and embroidery are hand-stitched. Quilting is a mixture of hand-quilting and machine-quilting.

Quilt top is displayed on a king-size bed
Quilt measures approximately 64\" x 83\".
The completed blocks are approx. 15 x 17. Flowers and stems approx. 12\". Flowers approx. 6\".
Portions of the stitching/embroidery of the green leaves and stems are missing. There are some holes and staining and separation of stitches and batting.
This item has been stored for many years and does have a \"storage odor\". No strong odors.
The quilt has not been repaired or washed.
