This vintage antique pendant features the portrait of Saint Francisca Xaverio Cabrini, a famous Catholic nun who lived in the 19th century. The pendant is a beautiful example of religious artistry and is perfect for collectors of Christian memorabilia. St Frances was born in Italy and traveled to America where she opened numerous orphanages, hospitals and schools. She had a heart for children and, while in America, worked among Italian immigrants which is why she's known as the patron saint of immigrants. The back of the medal is a reliquary with the words "Ex Inovmentis" meaning "from the clothing" written around the reliquary window.
