This is a nice set of two antique cast iron metal figural bookends in the form of ships (see photos). The items are made of cast iron (see photos). The items are antique. The items look to represent Clipper type sailing ships boats to me (see photos and determine the figures depicted). I think they were made in the US and that they are American in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The items in total measure about 6+ inches high, each measures about 6+ inches wide from side to side and each is about 2+ inches from the front edge to the back side. The items have some scuffs and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
