This is a substantial sized 5 gallon antique stoneware crock weighing in at nearly 20 lbs. It is finished in 2 tone colors of brown and tan and is nicely glazed. There is a natural cork in place.
There are some small chips on the lower edge but they look like it happened during the firing phase as the glaze is rolled into it. There is a fine superficial crack on the top end. It does not appear to go down further than the glaze surface. Please take a close look at the photos as these areas are noted in them.
This jug is perfect for anyone who appreciates handmade, vintage items.
