Vintage Amish Tumbling Blocks Quilts, 45\" x 77\". Made in Holmes County Ohio in approx 1980.This beautiful quilt is hand quilted and machine pieced. The rich and striking colored blocks are quilted around each edge. The narrow blue sashing is quilted with a continuous simple petal design. The wide green boarder is quilted with a wonderful double serpentine design. The materials chosen for this quilt have different woven styles which brings even more character and depth than the traditional smooth cotton. The fabric of the tumbling blocks looks like a very very fine ribbed corduroy. The front is two shades of blue, two shades of green and burgundy. The back side is slate blue. This quilt is in very good condition. Size is 45\" x 77\".
