The car sits a bit low and needs a little nudge to get over the threshold sometimes. You may need to polish or shine up this item due to storage. But it works GREAT and the song it plays is "King of the Road"

Wind up is tight and plays beautifully. there is a tiny plastic ring that looks "loose" or has fallen down from the music player reel towards the bottom. You can see it in the photos. There is a same ring towards the top that you can see is attached and not loose or slipping. The wind up mechanism can be accessed or opened to be cleaned or repaired( if needed) There is 2 tiny screws as seen in photos.
