This is a working electric Aladdin Model G17 Crystal Glass Boudoir Lamp first made in 1938.The body of the lamp is 9 1/2 inches high, the base diameter is 3 3/4 inches, and the widest point at the top of the body is 2 1/2 inches. The bottom of the lamp is marked in raised letters: "PAT. APPLIED FOR". There is also a small paper label underneath the base: "made by the Mantle Lamp Co. Chicago. The wiring is in very good condition and the lamp cord is 68 inches in length. The lamp can be found in J.W. Courter's book, Aladdin Electric Lamps, p. 85, and has no dings, chips, damage.We are downsizing our collection of electric Aladdin Lamps. Shipping to lower 48.
