Thisis a vintage African tribal Shona Bust / Head rock carving, collected on one ofmy father\'s journeys back in the 60\'s. It is made out of Kisii Soapstone by anartisan in the Zimbabwe area. It primarily depicts a male Shona Tribal memberwith a headband, beard, and necklace. It has a very interesting colorappearance to it that I found while I was cleaning it. When it is wet you cansee a very vibrant tone of color and shine to it, when it is dry it just looksprimarily white. It is approximately shoulderview 6 inches high x 3 1/2 inches wide x 4 inches depth.
