Thisis a vintage African tribal Shona Bird rock carving, collected on one of myfather\'s journeys back in the 60\'s. It is made out of Kisii Soapstone by anartisan in the Zimbabwe area, signature of the artists name, Pramod, carved onthe bottom. It primarily depicts a Bird with a very robust set of tail feathersthat from a candle holder on top of it. It has a very interesting colorappearance to it that I found while I was cleaning it. When it is wet you cansee a very vibrant tone of color and shine to it, when it is dry it just looksprimarily white. It is approximately frontview 5 inches high x 1 3/4 inch wide x 3 1/2 inches depth.
