From 1938 and It Works !!
This came with a house I purchased a while back. We have been slowly renovating the house and removing these old telephones as we make updates. This one was in use till about a month ago. I did a little research and believe this is a Vintage Western Electric Model 302 Telephone Phone with F1 Handset. The case is metal and there is a date on the inside of 8 / 38. The dial is smooth, the receiver is clear. The bell does not ring, The phone has a 41 foot wall cord. Pictures show inside and outThis comes from my smoke free and pet free space. They have no unusual odors or funky smells.
