Item: Foryour consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage sculptural wall hanging depicting a family under the sun by artist, Giovanni Schoeman. Circa \'70s. This wall art has a brutalist vibe to it. The family and sun looming in the distance are thick, and they appear to be constructed of some sort of metal. The family and sun are attached to a wooden backboard that is covered in a textile cloth material that is painted orange. This piece has a nice solid weight to it. It is signed on one of the legs, and dated \'75 (see photos). There is a wire hanging mechanism on the back side for hanging / display purposes.
Measurements: Approx. 18.5\" wide x 24.5\" tall.
Condition: Very good condition. There are no problems to report with the figures or sun - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The cloth covering the wood backboard appears to have a little wear - doesn\'t particularly detract, especially when hanging on a wall - we\'re solely mentioning it for accuracy.
