This 1970’s / 1980’s era quilt was handmade from a kid made by Progressive Articles. It was a home sew project kit that came with all the fabrics fully printed so an eager crafter could put together these heartwarmingly adorable blankets. This one is an oversized folk art style floral motif, with large daisy flowers with leaves and swirls, in a border print that falls at the edges of the bed. The binding of the quilt is a soft yellow.
What makes this special: It’s such a great mid century modern color scheme. It’s shades of oranges, browns, gold and accents of sage green. The scalloped design around the edges makes this perfect for layering over top of other afghans and throws.

Condition:Please see photos for details of the all over pilling, and some of the fading on the florals. Not too noticeable, and to be expected with age. This is a handmade, hand stitched piece with hand embroidery. It is freshly washed and ready to use. Yes, it was washed and stored after the cat jumped on it.
