Vintage 2001 Lava Lite Model 5621 Starship Lava Lamp - Purple / PinkThis vintage Silver Starship Lava Lite is very nice but does have a few cosmetic defects. The base will be disassembledfor transport and will need to be reassembled upon arrival. A torx wrench for reassembly is NOT included.
Lava Flow Condition / Behavior:The lava in this lamp is in excellent condition. The purple still retains a nice dark hue. The pink lava has a bit more of a mellow flow to it due to the design of the starship base. Please see pictures to examine lava behavior.
Globe Base: Silver Starship Base and Cap. There are some nicks and scratches on the top cap. There are also several little \"nicks\" in various places around the cap and base. There is some minor creasing / folding around where the rocket legs fix to the base. There is also a spot of discoloration on a couple of the legs. Please see pictures to examine base and cap condition.
Lava Globe Build Info: Lava Lite Stamped Number 21 - Build date 2001.Lava Globe Glass condition: The glass condition is overall very good. There is only one minor blemish on the globe which I tried to photograph. There is also a bit of a rub mark, but its SUPER hard to photograph. There is also an internal \"factory defect\" scratch inside the globe. Unfortunately, this was common in 2001 and 2002 due to quality control problems at Lava Lite. Please see pictures to examine glass globe condition.
Lava Globe Bottle Cap condition: The bottle cap is in good condition and does not leak. The USA Chicago plant stamp can still be seen but is very faded. Please see the bottle cap picture. Lava Globe Coil Condition: Coil appears to be in great shape and functions properly.Note on the Bulb:This lamp will come with a Clear S11N bulb. This globe\'s flow was very good with a clear bulb.
Note on Pictures: All of my pictures are taken against a white background. Only when seen against a white background can you tell the clarity of the fluid and the hue of the lava colors. I want to make sure anyone who buys a lamp from me knows exactly what they are getting.
