Vintage 1997 Lava Lite Model 7420 Purple Swirl Lava Lamp - Purple / WhiteThis vintage purple swirl is a very unique lamp with an awesome flow!
Lava Flow Condition / Behavior:The lava in this lamp is in excellent condition. The bottle itself is still a nice deep purple hue and the lava is very active. There are a few bubbles in the mix, however that does not impact the vintage Haggerty flow. The flow itself is very awesome, and it likes to run warm. Please see pictures to examine lava behavior. (Note: The fluid is a dark purple color. My camera and photo setup does read the purple fluid as blue. This is why the fluid looks blue in the photos.)
Globe Base: Purple Psychedelic Swirl base and cap. There are a few minor scratches on the base. The cap has a few tiny spots where the finish has chipped off. There is also a tiny little crease towards the bottom of the base. Please see pictures to examine base and cap condition. Lava Globe Build Info: Lava Lite Stamped Number 20 - Build date 1997.Lava Globe Glass condition: The glass condition is overall very good. There is only one minor blemish on the globe which I tried to photograph. There is a bit of a scratch a bit of a rub mark, but its SUPER hard to photograph. Please see pictures to examine glass globe condition.
Lava Globe Bottle Cap condition: The bottle cap is in good condition and does not leak. The USA Chicago plant stamp is present and can be seen but a bit smudged. Please see the bottle cap picture. Lava Globe Coil Condition: Coil appears to be in great shape and functions properly.Note on the Bulb: This lamp will come with a FROSTED A15 bulb. This lamp responded very well with a frosted bulb.Note on Pictures: All of my pictures are taken against a white background. Only when seen against a white background can you tell the clarity of the fluid and the hue of the lava colors. I want to make sure anyone who buys a lamp from me knows exactly what they are getting.Shipping Note:Shippinganylava lamp will temporarily make the lava globe liquid cloudy. This is caused by the cold lava hitting the sides of the glass bottle in transit. The way I pack a lamp minimizes this, however I cannot control how package carriers handle the package in transit. Please be sure to use the lamp right away after receiving. If there is a problem with your lamp please contact me right away. If I do not hear back from you within a week of receiving the lamp I will assume you are happy with it.
