1988 Longaberger All American Small Picnic Basketand Plastic Protector
This mostpatrioticAmerican designed Picnic basket is the best of Longaberger. This basket features a fully woven lid with added blue and red maple splints that is attached with leather straps. There are two swinging handles to allow for easy access to food. There is a toggle closing to avoidanything falling out or curious fingers.The 12 x 12 size is perfect for your lunches or cupcakes, pies etc.Longaberger started out using oak for handles, this rare basket features oak handles and an oak framed lid.This awesome picnic basket has nice patina.The copper rivets give it some country charm.Also included is a beautiful plastic protector with the molded pattern that mimics basket weave.I believe this is the most outstanding basket that Longaberger has everpresented.Very nicepatrioticbasketGently Used, mostly just in storage.
