Vintage 1980s Buddhist Bodhisattva Guanyin 觀世音 (Goddess of Mercy) Meditating with Holy Vase 4.5" Resin Figurine

Seller's Description:

What we have here is a vintage Bodhisattva Guanyin (also revered by Buddhists as the Goddess of Mercy) figurine. Measures approx. 4.5" in height and weighs about 200g. This charming piece with intricate details depicts the benovelent Bodhissatva seating cross-legged in a meditative state over turbulent waters with her right foot on a lotus flower. She is also seen raising her right hand seemingly to bless devotees and pouring holy water from her vase with her left hand. A nice vintage Buddhist figurine from the 1980s that will make a great addition to your collection.

Pre-Owned (from our collection). Overall, in good vintage condition with some signs of ageing over time as seen in the photos. Please note importantly that there is a chip at the tip of the vase that the Bodhisattva is holding (see 10th photo). Sold "As Is" to collectors of vintage Buddhist figurines.
