This is a beautiful vintage Sheaffer 585 fountain pen with a 14K gold nib. The quality is extraordinary, as you would expect. The weight and balance of the pen is superb, and it feels great in the hand. The exterior looks like marble, with grey on top of black. There are some very minor signs of wear, but nothing that can be seen with the naked eye. This is truly a beautiful and quality writing instrument.
