VINTAGE CIRCA 1960s ERA,
ZIPPO BRAND, MADE IN USA,
STERLING SILVER 925 CASE,
PIN STRIPED DESIGN MOTIF,
5 PIN HINGE, FULL SIZE
CIGARETTE LIGHTER
IN ORIGINAL BOX WITH 2 INSERTS
HAS BEEN FIRED AND USED,
NO PERSONAL MONOGRAMS OR ENGRAVINGS,
LIGHTER MEASURES 2-3/16" x 1-1/2" x 1/2",
BOX MEASURES 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" x 1-5/16",
STERLING SILVER CASE WEIGHS 33.0 GRAMS
Shows typical wear from being used and fired, including normal burn marks on the inside of the cover, wick and windproof guard, and the original flint has deteriorated, causing the wheel to stick and will need to be cleaned and freed. Exterior of the case shows normal wear from use and handling, including light surface scuff marks, scratches, a few light dents, and it retains its original level of patina over the Sterling Silver surface from aging, as it has not been cleaned or polished. It is very clean as it is, opens and closes no problem with that familiar Zippo click sound, has no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all. Comes in the original Silver colored clamshell display box with 2 information fold-out inserts. Box shows normal wear, including surface marks, scratches, and light soiling. Both inserts have bright color with no tears.
Inside of the metal lighter insert is marked in full as shown in the photo with the PAT. 2517191 REGISTERED mark, while the exterior bottom of the Sterling Silver case is marked ZIPPO REGISTERED STERLING.
