Up for sale is a Vintage “Quick-Adder” Supermarket Calculator! This is a red plastic hand-held adding device with white push buttons from the 1960s! It was commonly used in supermarkets and grocery stores to total items while shopping. The Quick-Adder measures about 3⅝” x 1⅝” (2” with buttons). It is marked “Quick-Adder” and “Dollars … Dimes … Cents” in white on the front and “No. 6319 Made in Hong Kong Design Regd” in fine print on the back. As shown in the photos, this Quick-Adder is in very good condition for its age with some surface wear from use,including a few light scuffs or scratches. The push-buttons all work, and the calculator adds properly. There is one small chip under the middle button with an associated crack in the center front plastic as shown. This vintage supermarket Quick-Adder hand-held calculator would make a great addition to your collection!
