Fascinating little piece of postcard collector history here. Mid 1960s postcard of an excellent shot of the former Royal Palace of Tripoli. After the 1969 coup, it fell into disrepair and was looted, so this is truly of a time gone by. Acquired by my late father, who was a USAF pilot that was in and out of Libya regularly. Postcard is in excellent overall condition, it is actually more colorful than the photos really represent, and the small dark spot on the lower left of the rear isn\'t actually a mark, it\'s a shadow from my camera tripod. In my family for 60 years, and ready to take a place in your collection!
