MEMORABILIA / COLLECTIBLESEach piece has been used and handled over the years, and does show normal surface wear, including bends and edge wear over the newspapers, edge wear on the program, surface marks, scratches, and tarnish over the keychain, Silver half dollar, and fob, and the prayer card is enclosed in a plastic sheet. No major issues at all. Please refer to all photos for exact conditions.
Included here are all original period items from the 1960s, not reproductions. There are 2 Chicago Tribune newspapers, one from Saturday, November 23, 1963 Final Edition, that includes the full first and second sections, and the other from Tuesday, November 26, 1963 Final Edition that includes the full first section only. There is the original 1961 Official Inaugural Program, a brass key chain or pocket watch fob commemorating the Kennedy Center For Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and a Silver toned keychain that has a center fob celebrating his birthday and death dates, that includes an original 1964 US 90% Silver half dollar. Also, is a paper souvenir prayer card that may have been from the packaging of the keychain that has been inserted in a plastic sheet for protection.
