Vintage 1960s Japanese Silk Fabric Sandals Shoes Geisha Handmade 10 in long:

These silk and wood geisha sandals were purchased by my parents in Japan in 1963 and stored in a smoke and moth free home. Maybe used once for my Japanese them birthday party (my mother dressed in full geisha).
Sandal fabric is silk beige with gold floral design on sandal thong and heel. No rips or tears.
Sandals heels and sole show some wear but nothing out of the ordinary,
Measurements:
10 in long x 4 in wide. Heel measures 1 3/4 in. There is what looks like to be a small makers mark on the heel.
These lovely sandals would make a lovely display in an Asian theme shop, Japanese restaurant or as decorations for home or party.
