Vintage 1957 Eclipse Red/Gold Large Dots Ice Bowl By Russel Wright For Bartlett. This incredible piece was created in 1957 when Bartlett-Collins, a glass company founded in1914, began producing their Oklahoma line of glassware, aptly named for the state it was produced, featuring a tapered shape, Bartlett-Collins commissioned Russel Wright, a famed industrial designer known to elevate 20th century dinnerware in America. To decorate at least two of these lines, Asterisk and Eclipse. The ice bowl is part of the noted Eclipse pattern originating from the large, overlapping orb-like shapes which evokes the visual of a lunar Eclipse.

The Eclipse pattern is largely sought after and can be difficult to find-but here it is! While originally designed as an ice container for cocktail parties, this bowl can be a stand alone piece or used to hold fruit, change you name it!

Bowl is in good vintage condition with some fading on the Eclipse colors d up to its age ( refer to photos) yet adds time its retro-charm.

Measurements 4 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/2 diameter, 5 1/2 base diameter

Hand washing is recommended to preserve the vibrant colors of the red and gold eclipes!
