More Original Auto Art:<Click Here> ORIGINAL painting/artwork from 1957 Cadillac sales brochure. This one of a kindcollectiblewas obtained from the family of a former employee/artist of La Driere Studios, Detroit, MI. La Driere was one of the lead studio\'s in the 1940\'s-60\'s in the production of artwork for automotive brochures (they even apparently had offices within GM as last photo shows, old address label, not included). The item offered here for sale is the original painting used in the creation of the1957 Cadillac Sales Brochure as the brochure excerpts show in photo\'s 9,10,11.The piece measures 16.5” x 18.5” overall. The matted (visible area) measures about 8.5\" x 11\". It is mounted on a heavy fiberboard type substrata. Photo 1 is a shot of mounted painting (with presentation mat in place). Note that there is a clear plastic protective film taped outside the finished painted margins which you may see a reflection from in photo\'s. Photo 2 isof raw painting with mat removed revealing the artist true skill in blending of paints into final detailed artwork.Photo\'s 3-7 are select close ups showing level of detail involved in creating the piece. Photo 8 is of the rear of the fiberboard substrate. Painting would look great mounted together with original brochure page (not included, but readily availableon ).
