Uber-rare Vintage 1955 architectural blue print of Doctor\'s Surgery & dwelling planned for building in Liverpool, England. Comes complete with the architectural blue print AND the actual building permit issued for the building construction. Both the drawing and the permit are on heavy linen paper, which may explain why they have lasted so well after 67 years.
The plan is proposed for Sparrow Hall Estates and shows what is proposed to be built including building elevations, floor plan, detail of window, railings with hand coloring throughout. The plan also slows the City of Liverpool\'s Building Surveyors\' Department stamp with initials and date in ink. On the reverse of the plan is another stamp indicated the plan passed Planning Commission Review on March 15, 1956. The drawing is folded as shown with some wear in the middle fold but no tears or separations can be found.
The accompanying building permit issued by the City of Liverpool and signed off by Ronald Bradley, City Architect and Director of Housing on March 2, 1956 lays out the basic elements of the proposal.
Both items are suitable for framing and would be a great decorative piece in an office setting once matted flat and framed.
