This is a vintage 1955 W&W Military EXTRA LARGE aluminium catering tray with lid. The tray part measures approximately 23 inches by 12 inches and is 6 inches tall. The tray with the lid on measures approximately 23.5 inches by 12.75 inches and is 6.5 inches tall. It weighs 4525 grams. The lid is held in place with catches. There are signs of wear and tear as would be expected through age and use. These are primarily marks, scratches and scrapes to the item.
