This 1953 Central& Western United States road map was issued by the Humble Touring Servicein Houston, Texas. This map is in excellent original condition as shown in thephoto and came from the General Drafting Map Company archives. If there is astamp or writing on the top of the front cover, it was put there by the GeneralDrafting Company since this map is from their archival files.

I was fortunate to locateand buy several boxes of archival maps from the General Drafting Map Companyafter they were bought out by Langenscheidt and absorbed into the American MapCompany. There is a wide variety of maps types and all are like new. Over thenext few years, I will be offering many of these here on .
