O. Becker. This was an Advertising Promotion Anheuser-Busch used for

their Budweiser Beer Product. Not sure of date of the promotion.

Illustrating the Battle Between General Custer's Troops and the Northern Plain

Indian Warriors Led by Sitting Bull at Little Big Horn Lake River in Montana

Territory. General George A Custer is Featured in the Center of the

Illustration Dressed in Fringed Buckskin & Waving a Saber.

Significantly Outnumbered by the Native American Warriors who Came Prepared with a Variety of Weaponry & Arsenal. Including Scalping Knives, Tomahawks, Clubs, Spears & Rifles.

The Imagery Background Clearly Hints

Just How Profoundly Overpowered Custer & His Troops Were.

Original Reproduction of “Custer's Last Fight" by O. Becker was

donated by Anheuser-Busch, Inc. February 25, 1957 and commissioned by August A. Busch for advertising purposes. 

In 2019 "Custer's Last Fight" was

on display as part of History Colorado's "Beer Here!" exhibit., The

Lithograph on paper is based on Ohio artist's, Cassilly Adams' painting.

The original Becker painting hangs in the St. Louis board room of the Anheuser Busch Company.
