A very nice vintage 1951 Motorola 52M1U Green Metal Case 4 tube radio.
This is a very small radio for a tube radio. The dimensions are 7-1/2 in. W x 5 in. H x 4-3/4 in. D. It weighs 5 pounds.
This radio runs on AC/DC power. It was tested with 120v AC power. It was not tested with batteries.A very unique feature of this radio is the auto on/off function of the front panel. When the panel is lifted, the radio automatically powers on. When the panel is closed the radio powers off.Radio works great. I live in an area with very poor reception and pulled in a lot of stations.
The green metal case is in very good condition with a few light scratches and no dents.
The handle is pliable and flexible, with no cracks..
