This vintage USS Salem photo and shore leave album showed the life of a sailor stationed on this heavy cruiser US Navy ship during the early 1950\'s. It has photographs, postcards and various memorabilia from bars, bullfights in Spain and other places the sailor went as well as some photographs of him on ship during his Korean War tour of duty. The cover is made of wood with a letter missing and some of the various pages are beginning to come loose inside.
