Lot of 3 Vintage Metal Comic Strip Printing Plates. Rare Find.
These 3 vintage printing plates were used in the 1950s to create comic strips in a process called offset printing. Metal plates were engraved with images for each strip then rolled with ink in order to transfer the images to the roller which is used for printing on to paper. This method of comic printing is no longer used which makes these awesome collectables representative of the early generations of comic books.Strip 1 - 1951 Porky and Petunia Pig. 7 3/4\" Long x 2 1/4\" Tall
