Vintage 1950s Lefton PY Momma Cat Carrying Kitten Salt & Pepper Shakers Japan:

This is one of the most adorable shaker sets I have ever seen!!! They look so much like the Lefton or PY items. Momma cat is carrying her cute little kitten and the set is cleverly made as they attach via a little hook. Momma has a lovely flower in her hair and yellow bow around her neck. She has 3 pour holes and the kitten has two pour holes. Set is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, no cracks, hook in kitten’s tail is a little loose, there is a little unpainted/unglazed spot on the back of her head, and a few glazed paint skips on her cheek and nose along with a small bit of paint transfer on her other cheek as is common with items from the era, measures approx. 3" tall x 2.75" long. Glares from camera. Such an incredible set!!
